Okay - ya missed my original point. Someone walks in that MAY have one of the bad units and wants 'em to tear it down and look "just in case". If it ain't got one of the bad units, MoCo ain't gonna pay 'em for "checking" unless authorized by a recall letter. \\;

If you type in your vin and get this on the MOCO site they already know your part is defective.....
