Its just fine without, but my ARC setup came with tweeters..(seperates) and huge...ok HUGE crossovers..2 of em, placement would of been a bitch behind the batwing(but it is doable or so I hear)..... I really wanted to hear my 6.5 ARCs with some tweeters. So after reading about hogtunes HogPod comes with built in crossovers with tweeters I decided to splurge for them. They sound great(and look great) on top of the Arc 6.5's I got from form sponsor Firecap501.
I have been using the ELF 2125 for about 4 months nearly daily and it still works. I am not an expert on audio by any means, but it sounds fine and plenty loud enough for me while running down the road. I have the amp hooked to some Polk Audio 5.25". The speakers break up before the amp gives out. I think better speakers would make a big improvement. From all the research I did on the web concerning the ELF, I could not find anything negative about it. Just the usual crowd downgrading it because it looks like an ARC knockoff and cost about half, so it must be inferior.
i had the arc amp, had some issues w/it. sometimes it would only play out of one speaker. they wanted to send me some cheap *** resistor fix for it. that was not acceptle for all the money i paid for it. make sure whom ever you buy your amp from stands behinf there warrenty. my friend had an issue w/ hogtune amp, called pez , no problem. dent him another amp and told him to send the bad one back when he recieved the new one.
I'm very happy with my Arc audio set-up with 6.5" speakers. I bought from firecap501 too and anyone else who has dealt with him will agree that he is a great guy to deal with.
As for the Elf amplifier, I have a feeling that the Arc, Elf and Wetsounds mini amps are all made in the same factory and different logos are put on the cases.

There sure doesn't appear to be much in the differance b/w them, anyone use the wetsounds amp on their bike on the forum?
I just got the Biketronics 180 watts/channel amp & 6.5" Titan speakers installed on my RG.
This rig is awsome. Call DR. Vtwin (site sponsor) for an awsome discount. You won't be disappointed.

I have to agree. I also installed the Biketronics Titan amp with the Titan XL 6.5" speakers on my 2010 SE Ultra. Outstanding clarity and you'll never, ever need to use full volume. I don't care what speed you're going, you'll surrounding sounds will never overpower this amp/speaker combo.
I believe the Titan amp is also the smallest one on the market for this amount of power and they are the only speakers/amp with a lifetime warranty. I'm very pleased with the combo.
