I installed Road Rage amp with Auloc Line convertors, $70 total, i was looking for volume at 70MPH not a concert hall

I installed the J@M 7.25 speakers with the HK radio and to be honest it is louder than the stock HD speakers. However, the speakers sound kind of hollow. I am not expecting home stereo sound, but I wasn't expecting a hollow sound either. So my question is, if I go with an amp is it going to be even louder accompanied by the hollow type sound?

i have the J&M 7.25's and without an AMP they SUX, IMO

Arc 125.2 mini and Arc 6.5 FD6500 speakers with HogTunes Hog Pod and it rocks even on a noisy highway @ 60mph with tons of traffic. Also have a hidden antenna under the batwing with the stock HK HD radio but that is hooked up to my garmin 660 with a micro sd card with 30+ hours of mp3s.

No problems with the system either even after many rains, washes and hot days.

I have the Arc mini and Arc 6.5 speakers, Sony head unit. Sounds real good but wonder if the speakers are the weak link now. You know,,,always changing something.
