Mary and I were riding across Vt. on Monday on our way to Maine from Ohio. I was ready to take a break and the closest HD dealer is always a good stopping point. Pulled in, shed the rain gear (whole 'nother story that will be told later) and went inside. Look back out and there is a guy standing by my bike, I go out and he says "Ohio eh?" and I say yep and he introduces himself, it was Dawg! Just happened to go to the dealer he works at part time and was there when he was working. He said he saw my bike in the lot and recognized the paint.
Had a really nice talk, he is a great guy and I also got to see his bike - very nice. It just goes to show you just never know when you will run into another forum member.
It was a pleasure meeting you as well. Now, speaking of recognizing your bike.....gotta get your sig pic back up I foolishly resized mine where it was hosted prior to Terry allowing larger sizes of sig pics.....now I'm stuck with this itty bitty thing because I can't resize it back for some reason on the original host site Oh well, gotta take a new pic of it anyway with the blacked out stuff. Hope you had a good trip back and missed some of the rain
This is the first Time I have logged on all week...quite a change. We did not miss any of the rain. We are just outside of Watkins Glen tonight and it is still raining, rode through the floods in Vt and NH and rained the whole time in the Adirondaks. 2200 miles so far, at least 1800 of them in the rain and not just rain, but downpours, steady downpours and thunderstorms, it has just been brutal.
My sig pic is showing on my user CP page, but not showing up on my posts, how do I get it to work?
When you're on the CP User page where it shows your sig picture there is a button line to the right of the picture that says "insert signature pic" Click that and it should show up. I had the same problem with mine because I uploaded it but never inserted it.
You came to Maine and didn't give me a shout...........and I was on vacation this week too.
Steve
Sorry Steve,
It was raining so hard when we got in to Portland, we spent the night and decided to head back west rather than endure the rain in Maine. Originally had planned on being in Maine for a few days. What a mistake, we ended up in Vt and made many many detours due to roads being washed out, actually had to go over a mountain on a dirt road just to get out of central Vt.
