First, glad your okay. Second, while your not riding get your 30 ought sighted in buy a bucket of blueberrys and go out in the woods at dusk with a light and kill that bastard bear for screwing up your bike.

You'd be surprised at how little damage some insurance companies will total a bike for.(not all, but some) I've seen incidences where just the forks were rolled in a bit and the ins. company totaled the bike. Thing is, most are in with salvage vendors and the bikes are gone before someone like me could buy them and fix them up for little or nothing.

Again, glad you are alive and well. Hopefully you'll be back in A saddle soon. Maybe an '09?

Wow, glad you didn't end up in hospital for awhile! That's the second person this year that I read about hitting a bear. Never have heard of someone hitting a bear until this year.

I bet they total your bike if it did a roll down the road. Usually they have a dealer do a quote on repairs, so I'm sure someone besides the Insurance gal will be looking at it.

Your lucky the bear split, he probably had a case of the a$$ after you hit him. A hurt/wounded bear is almost as evil as an ex-wife!!!!!!!

Glad your good...Your now 1 of the few that has seen a black bear in the wild...lol... just a little positive spin. I didn't see any bear when I was on PA rt.209 Wednesday coming from Knoebles Amusement Park.
