holy sh** a bear ,if there is any frame damage i mean any even that tab the engine guard bolts to it need a new frame as per h-d. glad it wasn't worse.

I would think that somewhere along the line a H-D dealer will have to look at the bike. In order to determine the cost to repair it. I know I was in the local dealer here in town and I overheard one of the service guys say that he had to go look at a wreck but from what he had heard it was probably going to be a total. Now I know nothing on the subject but if I thought the bike was totaled and the INS CO. said different, I would have to take them on.

yea i'm hoping if they decide to fix it and it goes to my dealer ,i'm confident they will either fix it right or find something that will total it.

You are very lucky to survive that one. Glad you have as little damage as you have. Sorry to hear about the bike. I'd just ask them to total it and and get on with things.

On the lighter side, you didn't see any camera crew with a little green lizard sneeking around in bushes buy chance?
