Need help: Rinehart slip on's, goodbye V & H ovals
I am interested in putting on Rinehart slip on's on my 2008 SG. Could anyone post their their experience's with these pipes?
I am currently running V&H Ovals and want to change. The Ovals are an excellent pipe, don't get me wrong but I just want a different look. I plan on just mounting them and not adding an ac or fueler to start. I want to see how it works first. I would assume since the baffles are similar to that of Rush (same venturi/spiral style) I can put them on and be fine. What does anyone think?
I put the rinehart slipons on my 07 ultra. They give a nice throaty sound but not too loud as to attract the local LEOs. Also I don't have the problem with the ends turning color. I have about 4,000 miles on them and still original black color.

Eagle Beaks by Rinehart give ya alil more BANG for your $buck$, just my .02 cents. ( I kinda like my "purple bands", they match my bike)
if you are going for a different look, then go with the true duals, that will really change your bike and they sound GREAT, get it tuned and dont let anybody BS you about theloss of torque and all that crap, unless you have a dyno stuck up your *** you would never feel that. Good luck
yes, had a set of rineharts on my o2 dyna lo rider and they turned almost a copper color, the black tips i mean, and on my 08 streetglide, same style but for touring, the tips didn't turn copper but remain black, newer process i believe, anodized earlier sets, and powder coated newer ones, i think, but the new ones remained black with ten k miles on them. three k on the dyna and they were copper colored. the new ones hold color mch better, and rineharts rock, they work and are cool. in my opinion anyway.,
I just bought a 2009 Ultra, and want to get Rinehart true duels when they make them. I just got rid of a 1998 ultra and went through 4 different set ups before I got the Rineharts for it, I was very pleased with them. Sounded good and looked good to boot. Had the stage 1 installed with them and what a difference it made.
