Always carry tools and a few small things. Done so for years and years. Mostly tho, haven't needed them....but sure handy to help out fellow riders.

Like some have posted already, I have added several more tools to the roll. I also have a complete second bag with some sockets, fuses, hose clamps, wire ties and assorted hardware. I also carry a Slime compressor and tire repair kit.

I tend to ride solo a lot so it is in my best interest to try an equip myself to be self contained.

My tool kit goes everywhere that I go. I also have a habit of carrying the tools that I use to install the latest doo-dad or piece of chrome for a week or so, for the times when the new stuff vibrates loose. Excuse me for saying vibrate. I realize that only metric bikes vibrate; my bike throbs.

Actually that is incorrect. The Ultra is the Harley that come with a tool kit...unless something changed for 07-08.

I have a Windzone Essenti-Economy Kit EE-1HD plus one of those Cruz tools. I also carry a tire plug kit and tire gauge.

My 07 EGC and my new 09 SG both came with the tool kit. Kinda funny, back in my Yamaha riding days EVERY bike they sold me came with a tool kit. Maybe that is saying something? Granted I never had a Yamaha brake down?. Knock on wood, only one issue with my 07 EGC and my 09 SG is only three days old.
