Default bike quits
Yesterday morning I made it about 5 miles from home on my 2007 Road King and it just quit on the highway. I pulled over and it started again easily and made it the last 20 miles to work no problem. Checked battery connections that night and they were O.K. This morning it did the exact same thing in about the same spot. There is no backfiring, or sputtering- it is just like you hit the kill switch. Anybody out there experience this?

I have had the same intermittant problem on an 06 Electra Glide for the past two years. I have found that as soon as it starts to lose power I pull in the clutch and cycle the kill switch off and on and let out the clutch its back running. I have noticed that the last two times the problem occured I had just manually cancelled the turn signals (After lane change) I beleive the problem is in the TSM / TSSM module but I haven't replaced it yet

Has anybody had their gas tank become air-bound possibly by a faulty gas cap? Thanks for the responses

A friend of mine got some water in his tank and did this? Gas additive for moisture might help.

Have the speed sensor replaced- should take care of your problem. I'm on my second one, third if you count the original.

would that be the engine speed, or vehicle(speedo) sensor? Do you have a part number?
