BlackGlide. How does the powdercoat hold up to movement of parts such as the pegs flipped up and down? Majority of the front of my SG is blacked out, excpept for the passing lamps and axle covers. I think one part that tends to get over looked is the fairing skirt. I think it makes a difference.

I have had mine powdercoated about a year now, with no signs of wear on pegs or folding locations. They still look the same as when they were first done.
Yeah I have my fairing skirt blacked out also. Matter of fact I have a box full of parts @ PowderCoater right now anxiously awaiting call to come pick them up. Here's a pic of Front End of Bike

BLACK ON!!!
First time posting a picture on the new forum, but here goes. My 02 Road King in smoked candy red and almost all of the chrome blacked out with gloss powder coat.
are those the 2 piece wheels from renegade? thoughts on them?
I'm just curious, how do the powder coated front ends hold up to daily wear and tear from road debris etc? Does it nick up easily or is the coating fairly tough? At least with chrome you can't see it or if left stock.. with the black it'd stand out like a sore thumb IMHO.
