$12 K is a bit high to start, but if it could be had for that, it's not a bad deal. Not a good deal, but not bad either. Prices on shovels have gone down, this dollar amount would have been gotten easier a few years back, but if this is exactly as described, it is definitely a find. I'm broke right now or I might be watching this one.
You would be paying a premium for the "no miles". Unless you plan on keeping it that way, its not worth the premium. I can't afford a collector only item.

That is a sweet classic. Not in love with the color, but otherwise pretty good shape. I'd take one for my garage, although I'd want to ride it, couldn't handle it just for looking at and bragging rights.

But plenty of time passed for things like seals and gaskets to dry out and leak. Still a nearly 30-year old bike with less than 1000 miles is a find, not something I would want, but I'm sure there's someone out there for this. Hell, maybe the 8-track player is still working....
