Had a 10,000 mile service on my 2003 Road King Classic. Bike runs great - But!
On the every next ride, distance had been about 20 miles, speed about 45, daylight, in fourth gear entered a construction zone and noticed my running light switch was down (off) so I flipped the switch up with my left hand. The bike shut down. Never touched the shut off switch. Pullled the clutch, let it out, nothing.
(note, I never tried the starter)
Reached over, flipped the switch back down (bike still in gear but not running) and the motor started. Tried the light switch a couple more times and all works fine the rest of the trip.
Has anyone ever experienced this and what relationship would the running lights have to do with the rest of the electrical system?
