Default press your speedo reset 3 times
can anyone tell me what the r # are for after you push the reset button on a 08 speedo mean? mine has r 225 and changes when you are riding

I think it's to do with how much fuel you have left and how far it thinks you can get on it.

Remaining Miles to empty. when 25 or less (something like that), the odometer will automatically display that.

read your owners manual

Its my experience that it means miles til reserve.

There is no reserve
Its miles (range) to go until walking
If yours says 225 you're getting pretty good mileage BTW

when it hits 30 your low fuel light should come on

when it hits 10 it says "LO"

I never let it get to zero but I imagine if I did it might say "Dumbass"

ROFL!!! I got down to lo the other day and quickly filled up before I was able to see the Dumbass. LOL
