rear fork pivot shaft

Does anyone know the torque spec on the rear fork pivot shaft nuts? Im trying to troubleshoot a vibration problem on an 07 street glide and my manual isnt in yet, also do you have to remove the pass pegs for access or do you just pop off the crome plugs? Thanks Mike

I beleive they are 50lbs. I believe you need to remove the pegs and the plugs. But if you can fit the socket and the wrenchhead in there without removing the pegs go for it.

I just read an article where they replaced the stock shaft with an upgraded aftermarket set up to eliminate "bagger wobble" and they recommended tightening to 40 ft lbs for the first while and then retightening to 50 ft lbs after a few miles. No expalnation was given.
