08 Ultra Passenger Rails

I also have them on my 08, but the tour pack is lower then in the past and there is about 1/4 of and inch between the handle and the speaker. I got mine at a swap meet and paid 30 bucks, they were from a 97 FLH but look great.
The grab bars for the 09 say they only fit the 09, so that opens another question

The 1/4 inch clearance seems to be OK, They are very useful moving the bike, and they make a great place to tie down if you use the back seat to carry a pack. My wife said she has not used them as a hand hold yet, but other threads have said they use them to help change sitting positions. I have seen them show up for sale on Ebay, but I would explore the -09 part to see if they may fit better then the older type.

I never noticed that the '08 didn't have the Oh Sh** grab bars until my wife got on the bike. I got them right away even though the service manager mentioned that he didn't think they fit the '08s, but it does if the tour pak is set to rearmost position.
