Wow, I ordered a Super Seer on June 30th.
When do you think I will get it?
Any bets?
I called them, its not good.
I hope you like it better than the police half shell I wore for 3 years. When we ordered ours, they took quite awhile to come in, almost 2 months as I recall. I wore that helmet daily for nearly 10 hours straight and it wore me out. It was so heavy, always caused me neck strain or a headache. The only good thing about it was the interior, which could be sprayed out with a hose to wash out. We switched over to HJC and they are much lighter and way better vented.
Be patient its one of the best helmets you can buy. I too wore it 10 and 12 hours a day working and thought it was the best helmet out there. I have a one now I bought 2 years ago in black. It is solidly constructed and hopefully you will never need to see "How well it works" don't ask me how I know. The lower strap that go's around the back of your head is what makes this the most recommended Motorcycle Helmet recommended to Police Motor Officers and Instructors at Motor School. The most common problem with Half Shell Helmets is in a accident the First Impact all of the DOT Half Helmets did fine, the problem arose when the rider struck a second object and the Helmet came forward off of the head causing catastrophic injury to the head ie Hitting pavement, sliding down the pavement, the helmet rotates forward leaving the head, leaving the driver unprotected when he impacts the curb or other object. Make sure you keep that Strap in the back tight so you cannot take your hands and pull from the lower back of the helmet causing it to come off. You made a very smart purchase even if it was expensive. You get what you pay for!
I ordered mine and got the wrong size. I sent it back and waited for at least two months. I'd call and call and was always told it would be another week or two. They finally refunded my money.
