I'm 5'6" w/29" inseam. What a world of difference with the CHUBBY® Wild1 WO517 BARS. They are made for the RG and you do not need to change cables. Very comfortable on long trips and slow speed manuvers. Did I mention they look GREAT and I routed all the wires inside the bars.

Thumbs up Wild 1 517's

I agree with Merlin on the 517's. Very comfortable bars for the RG. I have the 513's for sale in the classified forum if you want to take a look. I'm 5'8".

Flanders makes a great RG handlebar with a lot of extra pullback. I use it on my '02 SE Road King. Here's a link to the Flanders website http://www.SideRoadCycles.com/Americ...andlebars.html

Making the bike work comfortably is the key here. Nothing worse than a long days ride ending with shoulders and, back and, neck kincked into a knot. Hope the shorter crowd with hands on experience will chime in on this one for those who will most be able to benefit and improve their situation. Thanks.
This thread should help. Take a look.
