aero stich makes a pair with the blade on the thumb, also olympia. Aero stich and whitehorse press also makes a removable one for the thumb. I have both ( I always seem to get stuck in the rain) they do work.

I carry me a book and magizine and find a car wash or awning or some such and turn the radio on pour my self a cup of coffee and settle back for an hour and often take a nap or find a local tavern or eatery and take a break. then the roads are dry and they have stoped playin bumper cars.

Back in the '70's there was a company that made a circular clear plastic piece with clear vanes that spun it as you went down the road and would sling the water off. It fastened to your face shield with a clear suction cup. They weren't very successful as they would get spinning and eventually shoot off of your shield if you didn't have it fastened well. My buddy bought a couple of them and we all had a lot of fun watching him retrieve them when they blew off.
