I have a 2007 FLHX on which I mounted the chrome fork mounted wind deflectors. Because of the turn signal location on the street glide, the deflectors are mounted backwards so they don't cover the turn signals but I had to remove the engine guard to allow the forks to turn lock to lock because the deflectors hit the guard.
Lindby makes a replacement guard called the Multibar that looks from the ads to be the replacement I need to solve the problem but I can't find the dimensions for the multibar antwhere to confirm if it will do the job.
If you have one would you please measure it for me and send me the details so I can make a cardboard template and test it out before ordering and paying for something that doesn't fit.I need all measurements to make sure .
The fork deflectors along with the fairing dragon wings have solved all my wind updraft problems and I don't want to flip the deflectors and cut out signal light holes to maybe allow using the stock engine guard.
Thanks in advance to whoever can help!
Just Google Lindby and talk to the owner. He is a great guy and I am sure he will help you. We've sold and installed a bunch of them, the quality is first rate, great welds and chrome.
I have the 1/2 moon baffle that mounts between the forks at the neck as well.
I will try getting the info direct from Mr. (Lindby)? and will post any results.
