Just wanted to jump up and down in excitement somewhere where people will understand...LOL. This bike is everything I wanted and more. After my Sporty it feels like I'm riding around in my armchair. The folks at Old Glory HD in Laurel, MD were fantastic to deal with also from the Sales Manager - Tim, sales guy Dave to the Motorclothes folks. Great buying experience! The ride home was grin ear to ear the whole time as I rode home to meet the guy to get the money for my Sporty and sign over the title. Was running late so hitting 75-80 seemed good. Felt like 55. Wife thought I was flying. Can't wait till it's broken in. I'll be taking some good pics this Sunday and will post them then but will put up a few taken from the Iphone at night. One has my wife in it who is just to cool. This upcoming Thursday they will be putting on my 105th ann. backrest, Willie G. Heated Grips, and 3" taller windshield and then I will be even more stoked!! Hate to post such a long post my first one besides new member but the excitement shines through:-)
Pictures in signature for now until I figure out the other way.
New Baby with my Baby
and saying goodbye to my old beast.
Well thanks for letting me vent the good news and I look forward to getting to know you and riding with some of you.

Reason: Fix Pictures Addresses.
Congratulations on the new Road Glide. You will not be sorry. I've had mine for almost a year with no problems and I'm all smiles everytime I go for a ride.
Try posting the pics again I couldn't get them to open up.
I fixed the pics yesterday and they showed up and so I tried it again, we'll see if it holds.
Pics aren't the greatest but better ones to come this Sunday when it Sunny out.
I will try to fix the pics again. Maybe the change is not saving somehow? They showed up when I made the change and I know I'm not pulling them from my computer because they aren't on there...HMM. Managed to get them into signature.
I will for sure enjoy the ride - you do the same Ratkiller - congrads on yours.

Reason: Note about pics
I'm gonna tell ya right now , I only have about 2k on mine and the seat has to go , I dont like it , and if your Sweetie is like mine , she sure aint gonna like it , the back is only 11" wide ..
Looking at the Sundowner Deep Bucket , driver is 16" wide , abt an inch wider than the seat on the bike and the passenger is 14" vice 11" ..
If you have the '09 catalog it's on page 377 , top picture , item "D" ..
Item # is 52093-08 $300.00
Wud like the RZ on the next page , but appears it doesnt fit the '08 bikes ..
