Default clear or smoked windshield

the stock windscreen on my 08 s.g is to small the question i nedd one that is about 12 inches should i get one smoked or clear brothers you decide.

If your going to go that tall you may want the clear or maybe a light smoke. Going dark that tall may cause too big of a blind spot during the day with sunglasses on and at night.

If you are going to be looking through the shield I suggest clear.

I am 5'10" and have an 8" smoked. Works fine.
I guess if your 6'2" the math works out and you are OK!

Dark for a short shield and clear for a large shield. Dark is bothersome at night as stated above.

If you are looking over go either. Smoke looks better but that is just my opinion. If you are looking through or the top edge is just at your line of sight then I would go clear or light smoke.

The clear on my UC had 12" exposed and I was looking through the top 2" at my 5'9".
I bought a smoked 9" and now look over the top.

9" light smoke Spring/Summer - 12" clear Fall/Winter.

light smoke works well even if you look through the shield. i have also read that there is less glare at night with the light smoke shield, at least on a clearview.
