I use-------nuttin. Not yet been in a situation that I thought needed it. If I think I need one I will just tell the wife to take off one of her shoes and use that.

I use one of those cheap plastic give away pads that Gieco tosses out by the millions at bike weeks if the ground is soft, but hey something has to contact the ground, that's what the kickstand is for. What's next, a saver for the kickstand saver.

I don't use one on pavement, on soft ground, I just down a beer and use the crushed can.

I'm sorry, but I have to agree that trying to keep scratches off the bottom of your jiffystand is overkill. I can see using one when the jiffystand digs into the dirt or gravel OR to protect a nice garage floor. But other than that, I think it's silly.

Of course, it's your God given right to do it!

Use one when parking on soft ground and at home where I park the bike ....soft asphalt.
