I recently had to remove my fairing on my 07' street glide and now im having trouble getting the ignition switch back in. I put everything back just how I removed it but I cant get the switch to stay down after I rotate it. I turn it until the click and release yet when I go back to fork lock it pops out again! Help!

 

It sounds like the spacer and/or collar may have been installed backwards. for the spacer, the fat part should be forward facing while tabs still fit in slots on the post. For the collar, outside tab forward and inside tabs fit in slots of the post.
