Question Exhaust Insulating Wrap

anyone know how much i need to wrap stock pipes on an 03 RK?...it comes in 50'x2" or 50'x1" rolls...also i don't think it would but, will it be a problem putting the heat shields back on?

If I remember correctly, using 1/4" overlap, a 50' x 2" roll will do 13 feet of 2 inch pipe.

You should be able to replace the heat shields after wrapped.

I used one roll for my bike, and still had a lot left.

used less than 1/4 roll of 2 inch to do the crossover pipe heet sheild helped clamp the ends in place. get it at nappa way less than hd they got it in natual or black

so then it should be about 1/2 of a 1" roll...never would i buy at HD!!...ebay

I used 2". You can pick it up in Orlando, and save the wait. There is a performance parts store near the corner of Kaley Ave and Orange Ave, near Orlando Regional. They sell multiple sizes, and the spray coating.
