Here we go again
I was cleaning my 08 streetglide yesterday and found a 3 inch piece of powdercoat lifting off the frame. Its the entire upper section of the frame upright behind the left side bag and cover. The frame is rusted under the paint. This bike is only 4 months old. I just cannot win. I cannot wait to see the dealer on this one. WTF

I don't want to be the bearer of bad news but the only way out of this will be a new frame or strip your bike totally and re-powder coat your frame. You might pressure them for a new bike seeing yours is only 4 mo. old.

I am really not wanting a dealer to strip down the frame for replacement. I am really going to push for a buy back. This is the same bike that had a spider crack in the front fender at 2 weeks old.
