The dealers around here in NW Ohio are having pi**ing wars with each other as some are selling at straight MSRP with no freight or prep and others say the MoCo won't let them so they are giving out gift certificates instead. Getting your hands on a ride around here seems to be no problem.Two dealers within 25 miles have Street Glides on their floors.

If supply tightens up and buyers don't walk away prices will increase. That's what the MoCo is doing. There was an article in the Milwaukee paper not too long ago about the MoCo cutting back production.

I like my 07 RG, but I'm looking at other bikes in '10 or '11.

Oh, we have a number of dealers in the greater Milwaukee area and they all do different kinds of deals. This early spring my wife bought an 08 RK for $1,800 under MSRP with no setup or delivery charge.

I ordered on the 21st of Aug and was told delivery was Oct 1st. Order was placed and confirmed while I was there. So I guess I need to check on this and see if it has changed.

Did your dealer check the computer to see if other Dealers in the area had one? My dealer didn't have a SG with ABS , cruise and security, so they checked and found one forty miles South . He had it for me the next day. Probably harder if going with custom color.

About 2 hrs for me!!!! Got real lucky. My uncle and I both wanted to order 09 Ultras. Wanted the red and smokey gold with security. Unk wanted the same with ABS. WhenI told the salesman what we wanted to order, he told me the he had exact bike I wanted on order and was to be coming soon. We were out on a overnight bike trip so when returning home the next day, I wanted to stop by the dealership to put a deposit on this bike that was coming. When I walked into the dealership, the salesman asked "Are you here to see you new bike?" Guess it came in just after I talked to him the day before. Now that was FAST (and lucky). Uncles is due in late November.

I was in last week and they said 6-8 weeks. The only street glide I can find is in that flat silver and that is just not going to cut it. $500 for flat paint, I guess I just don't get it....
