JS,
Just a suggestion, why don't you mock up the bars, tape them to the nacell or somethin, then run string the route of your cables. run it from the master cylinder to the manifold inder the triple tree that splits off for your two lower lines (assuming you have dual front calipers). Then just measure the string. I would think that would give you a pretty damn close cable length. I would definitely tackle it yourself. I did mine over the winter, not apes but Wild 1 508's. Ran the wires internally. I am not a wrench, but between the manual, parts manual, and this forum, it was a piece of cake. Took me about 10 hours. Most of that was taking apart the headlight, removing the exhaust for the new braided clutch lines, etc. Go for it dude. You'll be glad you did.

I put 16" Wild1 Apes on my 05 road king and I used 10" over Barnett S.S. cables and brake lines. I went 10" over on all lines and the look great. Also used 1 Wild1 1 1/4 clamp for throttle/idle/brake lines on bar. I put a 1 piece Harley top clamp on the risers with Heavy Duty Polyurethane riser bushings. I can post a pick later.
