My 2005 Roadking had a SERT, SE/AC and a set of samson slipons. Put out around 72HP after the mods. My 08 Ultra with SERT, SE/AC and a set of thunderheader slipons put out 70HP. I also am not impressed with the 96 inch motor.

Default 08 sg

Got 81 HP and 84 f/lbs T on my 08 SG. It was tuned at Docs HD in STL. They specialize in PCIII tuning. I think that made the difference.

V&H slip-ons
SE Heavy Breather
PCIII

Wrong number above. I meant:

81 HP and 94 f/lbs T

I'm sure the weather down there didn't help much, it was HOT out.

It was on one of those 110 deg heat index days in July when they did it, although they did do it in the AM so it was around 90. If it didn't cost $375 / tune, I'd haveit done again in cooler weather.

great response mile hi king. laffed my poor ole twinkleberries off with that one. yeah, my 08 sg feels like it's got a hundred hp and torque, don't wanna put it on a dyno to make me feel sad. only got the se ac, rinehart slip ons, stage 1 download, did the royal purple oil in engine, primary and 75-140 in the trans. very happy with the way it runs. getting about four mpg better with the synthetic oils. at 7500 miles so far, running much smoother now with just the oil differences. feels great running to me, and isn't that what counts to each of us?
