What do you mean? did you change something with the baffles?

More info please.

No need to change baffles unless using the previous style. I installed them and used the smart tune function on the race tuner

So Im back in the V-twin Saddle again. Just picked up a '14 SGS, and have heard a set of these pipes. Hope you don't mind a couple questions. You say No need to change baffles unless using the previous style. Did the first ones not have a baffle? I Love the sound but I don't want to annoy the other half on the back when she is with me. And last question for now (lol). Can I run these slip ons with just the stock header for now? or is it gonna run like crap?

From what I heard the older CFR's did not have enough back pressure to tune some bikes. Especially bikes that were not stock motors....96" punched out to 103"... and so on. Cary did something with the baffles on the newer ones to give it that back pressure. I believe you can run them with stock pipes, but IMO they really sound the best with a true dual system.
