CFR exhaust for SG?
I know they are very popular on v-rods and they love them.
Thanks
Every on of my buddies wants 'em, but they don't want to look like twinkies and copy me! LOL!
There is another member here working on the same baffle install. I'm sure he will post here as soon as he gets them installed.

Absolutely NOTHING out there sounds like them. PERIOD.....but they are LOUD. Just ask Donnylee, Rockdoc, Bigzzed, and Greg 09997.
On Speedglide's advice, I have ordered a set of the HP Performance baffles to go into the V&H headpipes to try tone them down a bit. I am expecting them this week but I may wait until after the Anacortes Oyster Run this coming Sunday before I install them.
I am planning of recording a sound clip of the CFRs, before and after using a sound meter while I'm at it to lend some perspective.
BTW, my RK has a Headquarters 95" build with 9.5:1 comp. and HQ-0039 cams. I'm hoping the baffles will offer up a bit more backpressure to bring the TQ on earlier. Currently it makes 98HP and 105 TQ with the CFRs, with power coming on hard from 3000 rpm, and runs nicely below that.
I had considered changing my exhaust system out completely, but I do NOT want to part ways with my CFRs. These baffles are an attempt for an inexpensive solution to the loudness.
Initially, I heard a pair on a Roadglide down at Sound HD in Marysville WA. When the guy rode away I was sold....and so were several other guys I was yakking with. At least one said he intended to go right home and order a pair up. I did just that too.
Hope this helps. CN
The finish and quality of his Mufflers are second to none, and the look, and the notes produced by them is most excellent.

I'm very curious to see how Comfortably Numb does with the baffles behind his built motor. I plan on building mine this winter. I hope they work perfectly, then I don't have to change sh*t!
LOL
Like Numb, I had a bit of a low spot around 2750rpms, my DTT was pulling fuel from that area with true duals and open mufflers. Obviously this is very common with true duals. I added the HP Performance Plus baffles and the DTT started dumping fuel back in at that particular RPM. Now the fuel curve is pretty consistent all the way across. Obviously the baffles added some backpressure. I called the company and talked to the owner of the HP baffles. He stated," those baffles are NOT for noise reduction, they were designed to deliver backpressure!" Well, they did both!!!! I couldn't be happier...
