Go ahead and do it man. Wife and I did it and no regrets. Can ride forever now and get off the bike and feel like I haven't been riding all day. Opens up more options for trips and adventures for less than a 20oz soda costs a day.
I would have loved to have kept my Sporty but now looking back and hearing of all the Dynas gathering dust I'm glad she's gone to a good home and being
ridden. Have fun with whatever you do!!
Dealers around here are advertising financing through HD for as low as 3.99% for 60 months with perfect credit. I think they are also doing 5.99% for 7 years. My creidt union is only doing 7.9 - 14.9% for up to 8 years right now so pays to shop around.
That sounds like a low price for your bike if you are paying MSRP I traded my 05 FXDC in January and got 12500 on a 08 Ultra of course it only had 20,000 miles but it still sounds low I would expect at least 9 or 10 if u are paying MSRP. Based on what I saw selling today at the Dealer they would get 10,000 for it in a second. By the way I also got 500 extra to spend on extras. That was thrown in to the deal. Wait until Dec or Jan in the cold and you will save 2 Grand. Just my opinion for what it worth.
I am really having a hard time justifying spending $20k on a bike no matter how nice.
Damm straight!!!
Add up your down payment, interest paid over 60 months and your at $22,000 before you've added any bling or taxes or plates. (figuring a $20,000 list bike)

I guess it depends on how much you ride as to what it's worth for you. I ride mine daily as my primary vehicle unless the weather is horrible then revert to the cage for the day. For the daily use and for trips with the wife who loves to ride, the bike to... it's worth it To each their own and everyone has to do what is right for them. As far as them holding together, I see a lot of "old" bikes at rallys and big events. Guess you just have to take care of them.
Try to put a liitle more money down of you can.
Any decent deal you make buying the bike goes out the window when you figure how much you will paying in finnace charges.
74 month is to way too long.
It's your money but I hate to see people get ripped off buy the banks. They are nothing more than legalized Loan Sharks. They will eat you alive if you let them.
