I spoke with a lady at Rally Productions and from what I understand lawsuits are beggining to fly. The town leaders which are mostly implants from somewhere else are trying to get rid of the bikers. They have no idea whats coming their way. They will be sued until the end of time tying up their county lawyer for years. It's estimated 600 million dollars just for the spring rally. Thats alot of cash to throw away for a bunch of old geezers that don't spend a dime there.

Well then BOYCOTT both dealer rallies (spring & fall)........If enough of an economic impact is felt they might just 'welcome' those of you back that want to go.......But if you keep going despite all of the bad feelings toward bikers, DON'T BE SURPRISED OF TROUBLE ONE COULD ENCOUNTER!

Reason: SPELLING
It sux that people in general think everyone on a bike is a 1%er and it sux. But i figure F*#K them. A couple years ago we had a resturant that didn't want to serve us lunch I guess because we were biker trash and we had ridden through a thunder storm. So as we left we told the manager and the waittress that she just blew a $100.00 dollar tip as we were there to has a nice lunch and we always all chip in and give around a $100.00 tip WOW did that make them feel like a$$holes as they tried to make up by sayin they didn't see us at our table B.S. they walked passed us many times. So i agree don't give them our hard earned money. Id rather give it someone who want's it.
The sad thing about all of this is most (but not all) the serious problems arise from black bike week. No one has the courage to speak up for fear of being labled a biggot. One would think the leaders of what ever group would stand up and tell their friends to act like an adult. Everyone wants to have a good time but that doesn't mean you have to break the law or worse murder someone over a parking space which is what brought this to the fore front to begin with.
DenDen, you are exactly correct re: what happened there this year during BBW. You are also Dead On re: No One Will Grow A Pair & Confront the NAACP for Fear of being called Racist. I used to live in M.B. from 1987 - 2000 & I know which Rally causes the most problems. I'll go ahead & tell ya, Me & my Family would get out of town during Memorial Day. I am also Incensed that the City will not call these bas#@r#$ out, but instead ruin it for everyone. I will say this much, Myrtle Beach has seen "My Last Dime", Period.
To Hell with Em!
All bikers that have attended the spring rally and bbw should demand those that cause the problems be delt with. It isn't right that 500k black and white bikers be punished for the actions of a few. Sadly though that's what it has come to. This much I know. This will be the first fall rally I've missed at MB. I'm going to Biketoberfest in Daytona so screw the basta*ds.

You are dead on DenDen and Mr. BlackGlide. What's going on is a lack of *****, as I've said before... It's not the Harley Riders. They're hoping they can **** Off the Atlantic Beach Crime Fest riders but they probably don't care. It's a total joke. The new Ordinances DO NOT GO IN TO EFFECT FOR 90 Days (from Sept. 19th) so they won't effect the Fall Rally. I agree with the Helmet Law comment, I don't think the County can change a State wide law. I have an appointment with my Lawyer (in Myrtle) this Thursday and I'll find out. (I've tried to get him to Sue the County on another issue already.) I don't like being in the "box" but I'm not wearing a skid lid they can Kiss My *** on that one.
Two years ago on the way back from Charleston during Memorial Day (in the ICW) I about T-Boned a Atlantic Beach Biker that was on a rental Jet-ski. A word of warning, if you can't see a big-*** white sailboat with a 53' mask coming at you doing 7 knots you shouldn't be on a Jet-ski in the first place. So if you put across in front of me at 10 yards I won't (can't) Stop! Takes about a hundred yards to stop 12,000 pounds. I thought it was funny as Crap, my wife about had a stroke. I did stand up at the helm and yell... "YOU BETTER MOVE"! He moved about 2 seconds before the bow hit him... Might should have lowered the anchor a bit.

The best way to get back at these basta*ds is for everyone to show up for the spring rally except...Don't stay in MB. Don't spend any $$$ at all in MB. If 2 or 3 hundred thousand bikes show up anyway, the city will still have to pay for the police and all else that comes with it. Only this time there will be no biker money to offset the cost to the city. Hit'em where it hurts.
