I have the lockable one too. Have to use my pinkie to open the dang thing. Next time i am at the dealer going to pickup the smooth model.

53919-04a Large button no lock...This is the one I used.

price: $27.95 either one

They are on page 466 in the wish book.

I had that in my hand this weekend at the dealership, but didn't buy it. I didn't know there were 2 different sizes....good thing I checked here first....thanks!!

Well DAM IT! I didn't know there were two kinds. Yeah, mine will still lock with the barrel key. I just asked my friendly HD parts man for a push button conversion and that is what he gave me. Charged me the $27 bucks too..Betyas he won't exchange it.

just don't loose that bull$hit clip that is supposed to be a spring. I keep saying I am gonna tap & screw the dam thing ....

I just turned my lock around. Just push down on the bottom and open it. Stays down when riding.

I bought 1 about 4 years ago, worked flawlessly until this year. This year damn thing sticks on me. Tried to lube it, clean it, I still need two hands to open it. I may have to change back to the stock latch. Anyone got any Ideas. Works fine with door open.

Not sure, but I think that's justification for a new bike..
