Default Push button Gas Door

I replaced the keyed lock on the gas door of my SG with the push button style.

No more digging for my key when the gauge say "E".
Hey....That rhymes

Took about 10min to do.

Your fingers must be tiny. Mine, I have to use a pencil to push the button in to release the cap. My finger is too fat to push it in enough to trigger the un-lock mechanism

One of the best "cheap" mods you can do on a touring bike!

I put in the one that is the large smooth button...I bet you have the one that can still be locked with the small push button in the middle.
I could open mine with heavy gloves on.

I put one on right after buying the bike. Easy to open even with my big fingers and heavy gloves on.
