Took a look today and she's a non-ABS model. Thanks to all for your replies!

Black spacer is on the 08's as well. Its on the left side

This is the way I was showed at the dealer how to tell. Pretty easy to spot.

I agree this is the easiest way for just walking up to the bike at a glance. The 08 cables do look a little different than the 09s, but once you campair with a bike w/o ABS, it is obvious.
