With a one piece top bar clamp good bars will not move. I always replace the stock
riser bushings with harder aftermarket ones. I'm 6' 4" with a low profile seat, seems to work for me.
I just installed a 14" Winvest windshield that fits between the bars, I'll post pics when I get around to it.
In Illinois bars over your shoulders are illegal. Saw an article about a cycle wreck and they ticketed the guy for illegal bars. Had never heard of that and looked it up and sure enough it's Ill. law. Now that we have more motorcylce cops they are probably watching this closer than before.

Same thing here in Md. 15" over the seat is our BS law. Never been pulled for apes.
I have pinned them with both setscrews and rollpins throughout the years. Both work great but I have been using set screws for the last few sets to aid in easy removal when needed.

i'm 6'5 and i dont think i would be happy with 20's the i8's i got are borderline now
