Default 10K Service

OK, it's time for the 10K service. I am planning on doing it myself. I recently changed the major fluids, so those are good until I put it away for winter.

Any pitfalls I should be aware of? I know there are a couple tools I will need, such as for lubing the cables and adjusting the belt but the procedure does not appear to be that tough.

Am I missing something?

The easy way to lube the cables is to open the switch husings and insert the thin tube from your lube(like the wd40 straw) in the cable and squeeze on the bottle. I use dri slide. I can't think of any "special"tools you'll need unless you don't have torx bits, allen heads, and sae sockets.

I just my 10K a couple weeks ago - followed the service manual and it was no big deal. It was also time to flush my brake fluid and bought MityVac for that.
