I recently bought an '08 Ultra Classic 105th Anniversary. I live in un-sunny Seattle, but still the heat from the bike is kicking (plus I do a lot of travelling to VERY sunny areas). So, I have on order V&H Monster Oval slip-ons, a RJsorignial heat shield, a Arlen Ness Big Sucker, a HD oil cooler, and a PCIII.
My question is: With a PCIII and a good dyno, is it necessary/recommended to also get a XIED?

If you're going to get a dyno tune, you may as well get a SERT rather than the PCIII. Why bypass your O2 sensors and tack on a unit when you can have your ECM remapped??

Just my opinion (although shared my many).

This is a good point to ponder Steve. Is SERT with narrow-band O2 sensors OK or maybe SERT with XIED. How do those options compare to PCIII (O2 sensors are then N/A)?
I too would recomend a SERT with a dyno tune over a PCIII, however, keep in mind that any dyno tune is only as good as the technician doing the tuning.
