Goto http://www.powercommander.com/powerc...b/default.aspx This is the Dynojet site. They have info you can read and download the PCIII software for your laptop. You can use a USB cable to hook to the module. It is usually under the right side cover. Run you software and select get MAP. It will get the MAP from you PCIII then save it under a name that you can remember. You can get other MAPs from Dynojet or the PowerComander site and try them. If you get a Dynotune they will use the PCIII to change your MAP and save it as a Custom MAP for your bike.
There are many things that you can do with a PCIII. If you have Popping on decleration you can change the numbers in the left hand column from 1250 RPM up to 4000 RPM with a value of 15 or 20 or even try a 5 or 10 first. This will richen it up some when the throttle is closed and stopes the popping. You can increase milage by subtracting a 5 from the numbers in the cruising range. There are many posts on this forum and if you do a search on PC111 you will have a lot to read on it.

Mazz,
You may want to ask you dealer if they will do a dyno tune with your PCIII after you get the pipes and air cleaner installed. They might even install it for you. I believe it goes under the seat on your 08 since that is where the ECM is on your bike.

Yep. Mounts under the seat. In short it manages your fuel and air ratios.
