heel shifter

My boot size is 8-1/2 and the heel shifter was the most annoying thing I had ever had on a bike. Until I removed it and set my foot free.

all I ever use is the heel shifter style. Got used to it when I started riding, and wouldn't have it any other way. Banging gears!

I waer a size 14 EEE, never had what you're describing happen but you might try putting floorboard extensions on.
