Well I'm in the process of buying this 2006 Road Glide that I found, which is basicly brand new with only 1500 miles on the ticker. I can't believe I'm going from my highly costomized 2005 Road King Custom to the ugliest bike I've ever seen. That is until the 2009 Screamin Eagle came out and I continue to see these things in the mags made into highly polished gems. Let alone the fact I'll be riding something that feels like a lazy boy chair going down the road with a radio now too.
I know it shouldn't matter what anyone thinks but I like reassurance that I made a good deal. I'm giving $15,000 for this thing bone stock with security system, king touring pack, and fairing lowers. What do you think?

If you don't buy it...let me know where it is.
I'll go get it!
EXCELLENT purchase with the accessories.
I might have gone a little lower on the price. I got my new 2007 RG ordered for me for only $1,500 more than you paid. Yes that was just the bike base price and I added the tourpack and other items. But, if you like the bike that's all that matters. It IS a great ride and the looks grow on you
I think BadPiggy said it all. You might want to go over and put your money down. What's wrong with the Lazy Boy on two wheels?? You must be "getting up there" eh? Welcome to the geezer club!
I'd say a good deal with the tour pak and lowers. The mileage shot that you show is the "B" trip meter. Better push the button and check the real mileage. Nice looking scoot though.
As far as "I must be getting older..." Well my friend, join the club. Who isn't? That "ugly" Roadie will likely be the best Harley you ever ride (with the emphasis on riding.) It is the MoCo's best machine going down the road and thinks it is a sport touring machine in the twisties. Enjoy the ride!

Good Catch!! Yeah, find out what the real mileage is
Funny how some people think the Road Glide is ugly and others think it is beautiful. Personally I think it is gorgeous and the best Harley anyone can buy!
Thanks for finding that for me, but I'm quite sure its the real mileage. The lady that owns it is very sick and only got to ride it a few times. Her brother is selling it for her, but I need to make sure that true.
Thanks again for that find. I did go look at it too and it looks brand new in person.
