Default Help

Hey if any body could help. I am a new owner of an 08' electra glide got one problem with her though. I am short legged and rumor has it you can adjust the shock height. Is this true and if it is how can I do this without haveing to spend a bunch of money on new shocks if they arent needed? And I am also looking for some addvice on the fact that I want to change off the factory pipes I am looking for a beefier sound. Does any one have any suggestions as to what to put on?

Did you get the owners manuel with the bike? If so, the answer should be in there.

Lowering is going to consist of either shorter shocks or lowering bracket kit (you may get mixed reviews on either depending on road condition, riding solo-vs-2up, etc).

For beefier sound, toss on some slip-ons (ie: Rush with a 1.75" - 2.0" baffle). You don't need to change out the whole exhaust system

Try changing the seat to lower you. You can get some cheap seat to see if it will help, and then upgrade to the model you want once you find out.

Go to a local bike night and check out the scoots there. That will give you a better idea of what you want and you get to see it real close, not just some picture. Talke to the others there, they'll be happy to tell you all about their bike.
