Windshields

Ok I have to replace my windshield on my Road King and need opinion on the Mempis Shades. Are they strong enough using Lucite? I was told they were not and that Harley uses Lexan. Should I get a Harley replacment or try a Memphis Shade?
What is your opinion?

How tall are you? If you are a tall rider and could use a tall windshield for a RK I have one for sale. Mint in original box. HD part no.57995-96

I have a 2005 ultra and replaced my windshield with a Memphis Shades windshield. It looks good and about $45.00 cheaper.

I'm using a Memphis Shades shield right now on my Ultra and, as far as I'm concerned, it's BETTER than the HD shield. It seems thicker and stronger and is more resistant to scratching.

Don't you realize if it says "Harley" on it, it's better!! Geez, when will you guys catch on to the HD Strategy? It costs more, so it's GOT to be better! Come on now, don't go confusing me with the facts....
