Someone posted a thread about a rattle coming from the front of their SG the other day.
I had the same issue. Found it to be the clutch lever. Guess that anti-rattle clip doesn't work to well.
Anyone have an easy fix or recommendations? Maybe some white grease but not crazy about the dirt it would attract.
ya know i was reading that post and thought about that but you said from the back of the bike thru me off .mine does it to.they do have a clip for anti rattle .don't know if it's replacable

My bike has about 800 miles on it, so if it's worn out already, HD has a problem there!!!
your right mine has about 1600 mi.on it and it's been rattling as long as i've had it except maybe the ride home.maybe when i change to chrome it will fix it
mine was squeaking and rattling until recently too. i just lubed the pin and put some silicone grease on the white plastic part to prevent the squeak. (you'll see the white part when you squeeze the clutch in)

Just ran out into the garage and did the same. Did doing that take your rattle away?
