I am really torn on the right bike for me. I like the Dyna's because they seem to fit pretty well for me. I'm tall and when I sit on a RK, it feels less comfortable than the dyna.

Anyway, I was wondering if anyone had pics of a tall rider on a Road King (6'4" or taller) as well as any pics of forward controls or floor board extensions etc., bars, seats, etc....

I know a lot of taller guys ride RK's so I was just trying to figure out what the options were and how they looked up front before plunking down some big $$$ only to find out I didn't like it for whatever reason. Obviously seeing it in a pic isn't as good as riding one or at least sitting on one with these mods but no dealer I have been to yet has any bikes set up like this.

Thanks all for your time.

Take a ride on a Street Glide. I thought that I wanted a Road King too, but then took a ride on a Street Glide. The SG just felt like it fit me better.

Tough choice. The Dyna is a great choice, they are more stretched out. You can still get that way with hiway bars on the touring models. I'm 6'1" and do feel a little tight at times, so you must really get cramped. The motors are the same, but mounted solid on the Dyna. The Softails have a different motor. If your doing some bomber distance touring, and you need bags, you will have to move the turnsignals and they will still be smaller, and the ride is better on the touring models. Good luck. Rent one for a day and make sure.

I had a DynaWideglide and now a RK Classic. Dyna will give you lots more room but RK is only way to go for touring. FL is much more stable than FX on highway. Both are rubber mounted. I would try to rent both to compare.
