I was wondering if anyone knew for sure what the exact stereo specifications were for the 2009 UC? All HD's site says its 80watts. Is that 80WPC x4 or 20WPC x4? Anyone that owns a 09 and has the specifications in print I would like to know for sure.
Any 06 > Goldwing owners that just purchased the 09 UC which one in your honest opinion has the better stock stereo.

That's why so many upgrade with an Amp and new spearkers.
The same unit is used in the Street Glide, Road Glide and Electra Glide Classic, but only uses 2 speakers. That's why those systems are rated at 40 watts.
Which one the Wing or the UC? The 06 > Wings stereo kicks some serious but, the earlier wings stereo was pretty bad. I know becuase I also had a 03 UC at the time that really sounded good.
I was looking in the HD Accssories site and I do not even see the optional amp listed, it is mentioned that it could be mounted under the tour pak but I see no HD PN# or price.
Lots of good answers here. The ACTUAL power of the HK radio as per our tests is 18 watts per channel at 2 ohms. We also tested the Screamin Eagle amp that comes stock on 06+ CVO UC's and it made 32 watts x 4 at 2 ohms (rated at 40 watts x 4) I have the amp for sale if anyone wants it
