And will it stop my wife from bitc---g never mind nothing is going to stop that but will it help her be more comfortable back there?

Just purchased the SG Sundowner and still braking it in.
I doesn't look as good as the stock seat, but it is definitely more comfortable, and even more so for the passenger. You will find several pics here.
I bought the FLHX stiched Sundowner 51630-09 when we got the '09 3 months ago. We came off an '05 flhtcse with a mustang sport touring seat and my girlfreind insisted we get the seat on the new bike for her comfort.
We used the sundowner 4 times and absolutely love this seat..however the new mustang just showed up and I'm selling this.
It's not pillowy looking, it's just much thicker and has more seating surface than the stock seat...if passenger comfort is a focus this is the seat. The driver comfort is better too, narrower nose and sits 3/4 to an inch lower than stock...and provides a little back support as well.
Plus it has the flhx stiching for a stock look if you have matching tourpac or upright pads.
Anyway...we got 10% off retail and paid 290.00 I'll sell it for 200.00 plus shipping.
I can post some pics if needed, or you can go into the www site and see it.

Bertk, I got a hold of EVILDAVE and ordered my C&C solo. Price was even cheaper than expected. Thanks for all the info. The model# for the 09 is 3815

It's not clear to me which seat you are selling here, the Mustang or Sundowner? Thanks.
