A kit to do what? Your '08 already has all of those items. Are you looking for a bar with more pullback?

I think it depends on what bars you change to as to what you need. I changed to wild 1 508's and bought wire extensions from Namz and the HD TBW replacement (comes with long leads and no green connector to get caught in the bar with the wire extensions). Guys on here have go to RK Heritage bars and loved them, no cable, wire or TBW changes. Mini-apes probably need wire extensions and brake line, possibly clutch cables in longer lengths.

There was a guy on ebay selling apes and all the extensions needed for a whopping $650.00.......too rich for my taste. Easier to research (for me) what bar I wanted then search on this forum and found lots of guys who had already figured out what was required.

I have the Namz kit on my bike with new bars. I have had no problems with my bike other than my fbw assembly went bad shortly after changing the bars. The guy who put it on damaged the unit by rough handling when installing the bars so that was totally his fault and not that of the bike design or bar change out.

Same thing here, but the guy was "me!" It was the combo I think. I am pretty sure where my Namz connections ended up and the little green connector were the same are and right in a bend.......so 3 times I pulled them through and damaged the little green connector while trying to get a smooth pull.

Namz connectors were/are great and I did not mean to imply otherwise. I highly recommend them. In my case I ended up using the replacement HD states is needed not because the original cannot be re-used, but because it eliminated the green connector and made all the wires fit in without any issue at all.

Would also readily admit it could have been my talent (or lack thereof) level.
