On my 09 FLHX, I am getting a bit too much buffeting with the short windshield. I am 5'11". What size replacements have folks put on their Street Glides? Also, who makes good after market windshields - so far I have seen Memphis Shades and Cee Bailey - are there any others to consider? The H-D ones are too pricey.
I bought one of these and it's absolutely the greatest! The "wings" improve the sound coming out of the speakers tremendously. This one is a coated, 10" smoked. Check them out here http://customflhtwindshields.net

Thank you, Brent.
I'm 6'-0", and I bought a 9" Memphis Shades off of Ebay for $60 delivered. It's a pre-curved windshield, and I was pretty impressed with the quality for the price.
The one I bought was a gradient shield that was clear on top and dark tint on the bottom half, it looked great and the tint didn't obstruct my line of sight.
I just picked up a new Ultra and I'm thinking of going with the same shield on the Ultra. Nice thing about the smoke on the bottom is it does a decent job of hiding the fairing bag mounted on top of the dash.
+2 on the Cklearview 8" recurve. I just put it on last week. I was going crazy on the freeway. My eyes were jiggling from the wind! Took a nice ride this weekend and it is great. I am 6'4".
I tried an 8" and a 10" fastaire. They are only about $30 each. The 10" gave me good wind protection, but I was looking partly through it and partly over it. I didn't like that at all. The 8" put the wind flow right into my eyes, but I could see over it.
I then bought an 8" clearview with a re-curve. I see over it and the wind flow hits me high on my forehead and doesn't bother my eyes.
