Well I ordered my 09 FLTR in Denim Red a month ago. I got a build date this week and it will hit my dealer the last week of January. To celebrate I bought some new slip ons and a SE A/C at the dealers Black Friday sale, had em gift wrap em and sent ewm home with my wife to put under the tree. I am getting anxious now....my 05 Road King has lots of chrome, I think I am going to do the Glide in black...lots of black

Hey, stand tall... I snagging one in '84 and used it to tour up and down the Lake Michgan shoreline on weekends.
Momma made me gie it up when the kid was on the way.

This is what caused me to grow my interest in the RG. I am a brand new first time bike owner. My buds ride black E glides and their comments on the RG were that they were rare and an unfavorable style. I thought it would be cool to have something different and as I researched I discovered lots of positive thread. So here it is my 2002 Concord Grape RG with 7500 mi. Tryin to get some warm gear rounded up to ride with.
Love mine, handles great with lower center of gravity

Looks great. I would love to get mine lookin like that. Did you have to change the cables for your bars? How tough is the lower fork change?
